Change Is Here
Hey friends! This is my last blog that I will be posting on my time here at the good ole Center For Global Action. It’s crazy to think that by this time next week, my time here will be done and I will be home!! This has been a huge season of growth and preparation for what is happening next, but we’ll get to that later.
Oh, CGA, what to say? Since my time here, I have found a much deeper intimacy with the Lord, picked up writing poetry again, realized how vital worship is in my life, been a part of creating a space for worship at AIM, co-led a short term missions trip in Gainesville, been a part of an amazing community, learned a lot of valuable leadership tools, talked with hundreds of possible/future racers about going on the World Race, been a part of serve team for training camp, apprenticed with Beauty for Ashes (amazing women’s ministry at AIM), trained women who are currently World Race Beauty for Ashes coordinators on the field, led a short term trip to DC, been invited into a season of complete brokenness and utter dependence on the Lord… The list could seriously go on, and on, and on. It has been EXACTLY what the Lord had for me to go through.
As I prepare to head back to North Carolina for a short time, I am aware that the future holds some pretty crazy, awesome changes!!
It was during my time in CGA, back in May, that I also became a part of an amazing, long-term missions team that will be going to Nepal!!
I will be home in North Carolina for a few weeks–spending time with family, support raising, and things of that nature. After those few weeks, I will be venturing back down to Georgia for some long-term missions training that is a vital piece for me to serve overseas–this will be about 5 weeks in length. After that, we will be focusing on our launch date which is quickly approaching!
With all of that said, I am in need of financial supporters!!! I also want to have a prayer-support team–a group of people I will be specifically in touch with monthly about what the Lord is doing and things I would love people to join me in praying over. I would also like to extend that invitation for people to also share updates with me, and let me know how I can be praying along with you! Would you join me in this awesome journey?
