Well, spring is here in Gainesville, at least for the week! (Hopefully it stays)
I haven’t written a blog in a while, so I apologize about that.
Life in Gainesville has been…great, awful, fun, sad, intense, joyous, and…exactly how it’s supposed to be.
God has been romancing the heck out of my heart. I find myself weak-kneed, unable to resist his request to dance…to dance through the field of flowers or up the treacherous mountains or across the ancient bridge that is barely being held up on it’s own. It doesn’t matter where we go, as long as I’m with him. I’ve never known his love quite like this. I’ve never seen him pursue me this hard.
Random thoughts:
This wintery season has finally passed, and spring is giving way to flowers that need to bloom. With spring comes the task of caring for the garden–pulling out the weeds that survived the winter, watering the delicate flowers that are trying to grow, making sure each little flower gets some light.
Spring is a beautiful time, backed with a lot of work that we don’t always realize is needed. And in that moment, we have to choose whether we want to keep on helping the Gardener or whether we want to give up.. What do you choose?
